By default EndPoint Manager Server uses the TCP port 9000 for client connection. The port 9000 on your computer could have been taken by another application. To change the EndPoint Manager Server to use another TCP Port (e.g. 9010):
- Go to c:\program files\RestoreX360\EndPoint Manager folder and open file setup.ini with a text editor.
- Add the following lines in the file:
[RmServer]
Port=9010 - Save the file.
- Restart EndPoint Manager Server Service (RMServer).
- Now the EndPoint Manager Server Service will listen to client connection on the port 9010.
You need to change the port setting on both EndPoint Manager Console logon screen and the client workstation’s Network Connection screen.
