EndPoint Manager has two components: EndPoint Manager Server (Service) and EndPoint Manager Console (GUI).
EndPoint Manager Server is responsible for maintaining client workstations’ connection to the EndPoint Manager, it’s the core component of EndPoint Manager. Without EndPoint Manager Server, client workstations cannot connect to the EndPoint Manager. EndPoint Manager Server works as a Windows system service without any user interface, the service (RMCServer) can be started, stopped or restarted in Windows Control Panel->Services.
EndPoint Manager Console is the interface UI of EndPoint Manager. It provides the graphic interface for you to view and manage client workstations. EndPoint Manager Console connects to the EndPoint Manager Server to manage connected client workstations.
EndPoint Manager Server and EndPoint Manager Console can be installed in the same computer or different computers.
