License authentication failed

Problem description:

After a system restart, RestoreX360 shows a popup warning message  “RestoreX360 license authentication failed. You maybe a victim of software counterfeiting!”.

Cause:

RestoreX360 periodically authenticates its license with license server to download necessary Windows symbol files for kernel mode drivers.

If the authentication had failed, you would see this popup warning message.

This is a warning message, it does not impair the normal operation of RestoreX360 in short term.

Solution:

1. Make sure the system has Internet connection and is able to access www.restorex360.com web site

2. Run command line switch “shdcmd.exe /chkactivate”

3. The popup warning message will be cleared.
