Update MBR failed during the setup of RestoreX360

Problem

You get the error message “Update MBR failed” during the setup of RestoreX360
 

Cause

RestoreX360 needs to update the computer’s MBR during setup, some applications such as anti-virus or drive encryption software could be preventing RestoreX360 to update the MBR.
 

Solution

Check for software on your PC that could prevent RestoreX360 from updating the MBR, such as Anti-Virus software or drive encryption software. Disable the anti-virus software before setup RestoreX360 and re-enable it after setup.
